Path of Exile looking for Game Script Writer and Narrative Designer
Grinding Gear Games is seeking an on-site writer to help build and improve the atmosphere in the 'dark and gritty' Path of Exile. You are going to develop quests, dialogue, atmosphere lore and item flavor texts. The ideal candidate includes a firm grasp of a romantic horror mood within the style of H.P Lovecraft and Edgar Allan Poe and can express it within the effective and condensed way that's demanded by the ARPG format. We're searching for an avid gamer which has a deep understanding of our game Path of Exile and its themes.
Requirements:
1. two years of atmosphere work in games, or five years of function experience in a related field (script writing for Tv, comics, etc.)
2. Experience with writing for spoken dialogue.
3. Published/produced works games, screenplays, stage plays, comics, novels, short stories, articles, videos, or other related materials.
Pluses:
1. Self-motivation and self-reliance; capability to investigate and find out new tools speedily.
2. Excellent communications skills, and capable of functioning within a team.
3. Deep understanding of Path of Exile.
Should be prepared to complete a writing test if requested to perform so
