Vulnerability (as we know it) has been renamed Despair. We now curse with Despair.
The purpose of this build is for those that don't like to party or do boss runs, although, with the changes introduced in 2.2, it now functions reasonably for boss runs and can work decently in parties as long as you're willing to organize a culling setup for bosses and such. That said, this structure is designed specifically for solo map farming with good MF, life, and res balance, combined with a relatively fast evident speed.
Pros:
Earn 0.5ex/hr** without selling a DAMN THING. (See the FAQ)
Fastpack evident speed, solid boss kill speed (pending 3.0 boss changes?).
Runs any map mod
Extremely mobile
Cheap starting cost (buy any item level 64 5L bow for 5c, alt-spam for +2 bow gems) NOTE: +2 bow gems requires an Ilvl 64+ bow
Atziri capable (just remove Andvarius'. Or don't, if you're badass!)
HC is viable with some adjustments.
Cons:
Semi-Late Acrobatics - mid-50s.
It's evasion, so it's prone to physical burst damage if entropy hates you.
Not the fastest leveling, but it is better in 3.0.

Herald of Ash no longer increases. This Build is a significant clear speed decrease. This mechanic was our 'mop up' for these single mobs that were left after initial attacks.
Wise Oak 20% pen -> 15% pen. another nerf but this one is minor
Bow nodes have 'increased damage with ailments.' That means all our ignites and poisons/bleeds deal some more damage. Nothing major and most likely balanced with double-dip changes.
If you do not yet have Lioneye's Fall (jewel that transforms all damage into bow nodes) spec into Duelist's leech!
Then pick Acro and Phase Acro (both, you'll be starring danger into nostrils) and finalize the build with Shadow nodes.
You might need to pick +30 nodes along the way. Pick them. One regret is a small price to pay.
Why no Vaal Pact? It won't saves you from reflect. This build deals TREMENDOUS damage at close range. Just stay in Wise Oak and try to kill Reflect from afar (the Point Blank helps you + you only hit with an arrow)

The Backbone In Short: Ranger - Bow - DeadEye - ROTC - QoTF (?) - LS (?)
Don't care about it being deathless; This Build Can be able to do the Shaper (and similarly difficult content) in 5-6 attempts at least (by the number of portals), I'm ok with dying from time to time as long as I'm still able to kill the boss in the end.
This Build using Siege Ballistas and Lighting Strike as my primary damage dealers.
This Build also use Hatred, Herald of Ash, Ice Golem and Blood Rage as supplements
The tooltip DPS for the Lightning Strike is 32k without any charges, for Ballistas (of which This Build can have 2) - 35k without any charges
This Build makes around 100k tooltip DPS combined.
